Grand Plateau Lodge is an amazing facility for families to gather year-round in Kanab. The main lodge has a beautiful kitchen and dining area to gather and enjoy meals together. It also has a large theatre room for watching your favorite movie or sports event. The main lodge has three bedrooms and four bathrooms. For large groups the retreat lodge has eight bedrooms and eight bathrooms. Each bedroom has its own private bathroom, a king bed, and a bunkbed. The pool and hot tub area provide a great gathering area between the two buildings for families to swim and play. The complex also has some great recreation equipment for families that enjoy outdoor recreation. Adjacent to the lodge is a volleyball court, basketball, and pickleball court for families to enjoy. For families that enjoy outdoor recreation and adventure, the Grand Plateau Lodge is in an amazing location for endless adventure. Families can easily drive up to the Coral Pink Sand Dunes State Park and spend the day playing on the sand dunes or riding ATVs. Just north of town is the Moqui Cave for families to explore. Johnson Canyon and other canyons are just outside of town for jeeping and ATV riding. Families that enjoy riding off-road vehicles love this area and have endless areas to ride. Groups that enjoy hiking also have many great opportunities for exploring and hiking in the Kanab area. The Grand Staircase National Monument, Vermillion Cliffs, Coyote Buttes, Buckskin Gulch, Zion National Park, and Bryce Canyon National Park are all within an hour drive of the Kanab and offer some of the best hiking in the western United States.
Grand Plateau Lodge is perfect for groups of 10 to 60 people. For smaller groups the Grand Plateau Resort has other great options for Kanab lodging. The Juniper Hills Home is a luxury three-bedroom home with a pool and hot tub that is amazing for groups under 10 people. The Grand Plateau RV Resort has small camper cabins for groups under five people. It also has RV sites for those traveling with an RV.
