During the late fall when the leaves have changed color the fall colors, blue skies, and red rock canyon walls make for some amazing and beautiful scenery and is one of the most beautiful times of the year to be in Zion National Park and explore the breathtaking hikes in the park.
Bryce Canyon National Park is also an amazing national park in southern Utah north of Kanab. It has some of the best red rock pinnacles and formations in the world. During the fall months it has beautiful weather and is a great time of year to get out and explore and do some hiking with your family and friends. In the fall the autumn colors can be beautiful in Bryce Canyon National Park and in the nearby Dixie National Forest. It is a great time of year to take a drive through the Dixie National Forest and see the fall colors.
Grand Staircase National Monument is a great area for groups to explore that enjoy peace and solitude. There are many hikes and beautiful rock formations in the national monument. It is a remote area that is away from the crowds and is a great area to explore for people that want to get away from the busier visitor centers and crowded areas.
