Fall weather is just around the corner here at Grand Plateau Lodge. The late summer monsoonal weather patterns have already started, and we are getting afternoon clouds and rainstorms quite frequently.  In a few weeks, the evenings will start to cool off significantly and the daytime temperatures will start to get cooler.  Fall family vacations in southern Utah are amazing!

The fall is one of our favorite times of year in southern Utah. The fall daytime temperatures are nice and just about perfect for swimming, relaxing by the pool, and playing pickleball at Grand Plateau Lodge.  The evening temperatures are cooler and are great for soaking in the hot tub, relaxing by the firepit, or sitting on the porch and enjoying the views while catching up with family and friends.

One of our favorite things about the fall is the quieter national and state parks in southern Utah.  As summer vacations end and children go back to school the southern Utah recreation areas get more peaceful and quieter. Zion National Park, Bryce Canyon National Park, the north rim of the Grand Canyon, and Coral Pink Sand Dunes State Park are all just a short drive from Grand Plateau Lodge and we love to spend time enjoying these parks in the fall when they are more peaceful.

Grand Plateau Lodge is perfect for any size group. Small groups can stay in the beautiful three-bedroom home on the property with its own private pool and hot tub. Larger groups can rent the lodge. The lodge can accommodate groups up to 50 people and has its own private pool and hot tub, pickleball and basketball court, and volleyball court. It is perfect for exploring southern Utah with your family.

Those groups that love to ATV and Jeep will find endless dirt roads and ATV trails around the Kanab area. The fall is the perfect time to explore these trails and see many areas that many people do not get to see. This fall come down for a weekend and see what fall has to offer in southern Utah.
