Kanab is a spectacular area in southern Utah that has more state and national parks surrounding it than any other city in the United States. Bryce Canyon National Park is about an hour north of Kanab. The red rock formations and canyons at Bryce Canyon National Park are some of the most amazing red rock formations in the world. Bryce Canyon is a must-see location when you are visiting the Kanab area. There are many hiking trails and scenic viewpoints.

Zion National Park is also about an hour drive north of Kanab. Zion is one of the most iconic national parks in the United States and has amazing slot canyons. Visiting Zion National Park is a place that everyone should visit at least once in their life.

South of Kanab is the Grand Staircase National Monument. This remote area of Utah has some amazing canyons and formations that are off the beaten path. Adventure seekers that love to explore and find hidden gems will love this national monument. Explorers are often rewarded with spectacular scenery and hidden sites in this amazing area.

Horseshoe Bend of the Colorado River and the North Rim of the Grand Canyon are also about an hour and a half south of Kanab. These spectacular viewpoints give visitors some of the most spectacular scenery of the Colorado River.
