Zion National Park and Bryce Canyon National Park are both north of Kanab about an hour. The north rim of the Grand Canyon is south of Kanab about 1.5 hours. Grand Staircase National Monument and Vermillion Cliffs National Monument are both east of Kanab about 1 hour. Grand Plateau Lodge is located in the center of the grand circle and is surrounded by gogeous national park and national monuments for families to explore during their Kanab family holiday vacation.
Kanab is also surrounded by great areas for hiking and exploring. Families that enjoy hiking will love this area. It is surrounded by amazing red rock formations and desert landscapes for families to enjoy while they hike and explore. Some of our favorite areas around Kanab to hike and explore are Coral Pink Sand Dunes State Park, White Pocket, Toadstool, and Peekaboo Slot Canyon. The holiday season is a great time of year to enjoy hiking and exploring with your family since the weather is mild and the crowds are smaller this time of year.

The Grand Plateau Lodge has a beautiful pool and hot tub for relaxing and soaking. There is also volleyball, basketball, and pickleball courts for families that enjoy playing sports together. The lodge has a ping pong table and a theatre room for families to relax during the evenings. The kitchen and dining area is great for families to gather and eat delicous food over the holiday season.
