The young children enjoy playing in the sand, while the older kids will love sledding or sand boarding down the sand dunes. ATVs can also be rented to ride on the sand dunes for the day.
The Grand Staircase National Monument is a huge area with tons of dirt roads and ATV trails. This is a great area for ATV and jeep enthusiasts as well as families that love hiking and exploring slot canyons. This is one of the best areas of Utah for families that love exploring the desert southwest and like to avoid the crowds.
